DESSERT SPOONS AND BOWLS COLLECTION 2021
The exclusive mini collection of Trick the Birds dessert spoons and Taste the Magic dessert bowls was designed and handcrafted by ceramic artist Ene Raud and created specifically for Virgo Ceramics with a touch of gold.
Trick The Birds spoon
The shape of the amuse-bouche spoons was inspired by the delicate oat flowers that grow in the fields of Ene’s home farm in Saaremaa, Estonia.
In Estonian folk beliefs, "trick the birds" means some food or a piece of bread eaten before leaving the house during the early spring time. Because otherwise, the very first bird you hear will trick you. It is a kind of magic to take the piece of bread, so it will neutralise the evil power of that bird.
The spoon was developed together with professional chefs and has been tested in restaurant environment.
Taste The Magic bowl
Inspired by the wind, rocks, sea, nature and friends. It is all about playing with contrast and movements.
