Born in Tallinn, Estonia, Anna Karboinova has always been interested in the creative world. Since early childhood, Anna has taken various courses in art, illustration, painting, and ceramics besides her higher education in languages. 

After graduation, she decided to pursue her fashion dreams and moved to London to start a career in the luxury fashion world. She worked for Net-A-Porter as a personal shopper and later as a freelance buyer and consultant for emerging boutiques and brands.

During these years in the hustle and bustle of the big city, she learned that she wanted to put her creative vision and sense of style into design objects to share her own stories with the world and this is how Virgo Ceramics was born. A company that now grew into Virgo Studio that offers unique porcelain collections, glassware and table styling.

The philosophy of Virgo Studio is to create limited edition pieces, support local artists and artisans, and educate to consume meaningfully and spread beauty all around us.
